GOOD FOOD.
GREAT HISTORY.
A brief chicken curry preparation published under L. M. Annable's series on preparing chickens in Good Housekeeping. It features pieces of chicken browned and stewed with butter-fried onions, seasoned with a very tiny amount of curry powder, and served alongside plain boiled rice.
Chicken Curry Cut a tender chicken into pieces. Slice one onion fine and fry in a tablespoonful of butter. Over the onion sprinkle one teaspoonful of curry powder. Fry the chicken until nicely browned, add the onion and pour on sufficient water to cover nicely. Stew until tender and serve with plain boiled rice.
